So today, let’s talk about 5 easy videos you can make with your phone, no fancy equipment or skills required.
There's a saying that goes, the
best camera you have is the one
you have on you. Well guess
what, basically, every moment of
the day, you have a camera
literally at your fingertips to
make it easy to create video
content, especially ads. And
that's your phone, of course.
And honestly, it's pretty high
end for filming. In 4k, you can
hit that big red button, and in
a matter of seconds be filming
great looking content. So we no
longer have an excuse that
should keep us from creating
let's talk about five easy
videos you can make with your
phone with no fancy equipment or
skills required.
First off, when it comes to
video equipment, there are three
essential parts of a quality
video, camera, lighting and
audio, you have your camera,
jack, right your phone, then you
need to focus on quality
lighting, and audio. First off,
you want to make sure you have a
light source in front of your
face. People want to see your
bright smiling face in your
videos doing lighting for free,
simply stand in front of a
window. But if it's at night,
make sure you stand in front of
a light source so that way your
face is brightly lit and people
can see and hear what you're
talking about when it comes to
video. It's a motion picture and
sound experience. So if people
can't see you, and then hear
you, then they can actually
understand what message you're
delivering and what you're
saying. And so you want to
prioritize quality audio before
quality video first honestly,
there are some mic options down
below you can learn more about
whether it's recording in your
webcam, plugging in a USB
microphone, or getting a
microphone that plugs into your
phone. There are different
Lavalier microphones that clip
to your shirt or your blouse and
then plugged into your phone to
improve the quality of your
videos. But a simple way to get
started is simply use your
headphones, your headphones can
act as a microphone. So again,
make sure to focus on those
three essentials of quality
video with message aside and
those are quality camera quality
audio and quality lighting. And
you can literally get started
with what you have your phone,
your window, and headphones or
with the camera source close
enough to you to get decent
sounding audio. So the first
video with your phone is a
behind the scenes or documentary
video. This is what you see
across YouTube shorts or Tick
Tock Instagram you document your
day, your business and your
perspective. The second video is
an explainer video. This is when
you can set your phone up maybe
on a tripod, and explain or
present information that's
valuable to your audience. The
third video with your phone is a
sales funnel video. This is when
you can follow up with potential
customers and people who are
interested in your business
through DMS or apps like warm
welcome, so that way you can
send a more simple
conversational and personal
message to build a relationship.
The fourth video is a
demonstration video. Now there
are a lot of influencers and
brand partnerships where from
their phone people review and
demonstrate or unbox a product
and show how they love it. This
may even look like a testimonial
video. So that's an effective
way to use your phone and many
people use it. The fifth video
is a connection video. This is
where you share what you believe
and stand for this is less
educational and more
motivational and inspirational.
You invite others to think
differently. All these types of
videos can then be repurposed
and added to your website share
with customers used throughout
the entire customer experience.
So the goal here is to minimize
the video editing. So that way
you can quickly plan produce and
then publish and promote content
for your audience and your
brand. phones can be so powerful
to capture and share your
message. Build relationships
with no acting or Polish
required. Everyone has a phone,
an iPhone or Google phone,
whatever your phone may be. They
all have a quality camera, and
they're only getting better with
each new update. So no longer
again, do we have an excuse that
we should not create because we
don't have the right equipment?
The best equipment we have is
what we have accessible. You
know it's funny growing up, my
dad would carry around a camera
that would record to a VHS
player. Surely before that it
was film super eight, which
captured home videos where the
access to a professional film
crew cost 1000s and millions of
dollars to create a commercial
for brands and so it was really
out of reach for the day to day
business owner but it really
wasn't until around 2005 plus
that digital video really
started to boom at first started
with digital quarters. And then
by the time around 2008 came
along and smartphones became
available, video quality started
to go up. And that's when we
really started to see YouTube
grow and online video grow in a
bigger and a better way to make
it easy for us to create content
and connect with our audience
using video in whatever form
that takes, whether it's on a
call on zoom with a webcam, or
it's with a professional film
camera like I'm using here, or
if it's with our phone or
whatever it may be, our audience
wants to connect with us and
have a conversation. And that's
best done with video. Follow
these five video types. Right
now create one at a time using
the power of the best camera you
have, which is oftentimes this
guy, the one you have on you.
