So what does it mean to be a VISIONARY.
Imagine a better future for yourself, your family, your business, team and society.
Who you will be with, what will you have accomplish, how many people serve and relationships built, how will you be remembered.
So what does it mean to be a
visionary? Well, to me, it means
having a vision, an idea and
imagination around a better
future for yourself, your
family, your community, society,
your team, your customers. And
with this future mind, it's
where you can look around and
recognize people that you will
be with and be surrounded by
maybe certain things that you
have accomplished in this
future, or that you've helped
other people accomplish those
you serve, both from a personal
and professional side, or a way
that you can recognize how you
will be remembered what your
legacy will be. So think about
this question for yourself, what
does it mean for you to be a
visionary to have a vision for
your life and your business? So
I recently asked the same exact
question to other visionaries.
And I wanted to share what they
had to say.
I would say to be a visionary is
to always be looking a few steps
ahead, and not getting caught
into like your day to day just
to do list or what am I doing
today? Right, it's like having a
thumb in front of your finger,
it's like you can already in
front of your face you can stare
at is like oh, I just see the
thumb. It's like you're missing
the entire room around you. And
so being a visionary to me is
like making sure you're keeping
your eye on the entire picture
as you're doing the day to day.
And also thinking about well,
what impact do I want to have?
What legacy do I want to leave?
How do I want to impact other
people who are on my email list,
watching my videos consuming my
content, because at the end of
the day, this is not just about
us, it's about what we're doing.
And using our gifts to help
other people improve what it is
that they're trying to do,
because it's like a ripple
effect, right, they're going to
be their best because of
something they heard from us,
they're then going to impact
other people, and then it might,
so on and so forth. So it's like
what is they call it the
butterfly effect. It's kind of
like that, but within our
business.
So for us our vision, that is
the guiding light to every
single thing that we do is we
are looking to eliminate the
word burnout from service
providers vocabularies, a really
intense mission, it feels semi
impossible, but at the same
time, so core to me, and what I
believe in, as well as my team
and what we believe in. So for
us, it looks like initially,
looking at us internally, am I
living that out? Am I actually
eliminated burnout from my own
vocabulary, right, because if
I'm just, you know, blowing
smoke up people, that's not
really gonna serve my mission.
And that's not actually going to
allow my vision to come to
light, which is the whole point.
And so I have to really look at
myself and say, How do I live
out this mission myself, and
this vision of myself, then it
comes to my team, my beautiful
humans in my company, it comes
down to Okay, Jordan might be,
you know, not burnout, but his
her team burnout. And that's a
really good representation of
our value our vision either. So
I'm constantly looking at ways
that I can provide resources,
encouragement, etc, for my team
members, so that they also are
not feeling burnt out,
overwhelmed, exhausted, stressed
out, and then the next level of
that is to actually help my
clients, right? It comes from,
Okay, I see that Jordan is not
burnout, I see that her team has
not burned out. And I want that,
and I I see them embracing that
I see them exuding that from
their pores. And I want that for
myself. So I would say then
passing that along to your
clients is what that looks like
for us. And it's such an honor.
And it's so exciting when we are
able to see the things that our
clients are able to accomplish.
While not feeling burned out.
And literally living out our
vision themselves.
I find building my vision for my
company to be perhaps the most
creative expression that I have
in my life. It's a process where
I have ideas. And then I get to,
you know, create plans for how I
might implement those ideas and
how I might make those ideas
turn into reality. But along the
way, as I then work on executing
those plans, and actually
carrying them out, I run into
problems. And that's where I
think the most creative part of
the process comes in. Because
when I immediately find a
problem, I have to find a
solution to it, I have to figure
out how to overcome that
problem. So I have this creative
problem solving process. And in
trying to solve the problem, I
have to get help from other
people, I have to try different
things. And a lot of the time
those things fail. But over
time, I'm eventually able to
solve the problems. And in doing
so, I grow myself and I
strengthen myself as a person.
And of course my company grows
as well, which gives us gives us
the opportunity to help
increasing numbers of people to
serve additional numbers. have
customers
as a business owner, and I'm
sure like other business owners,
we are always eager to tell you
what we do. I have learned,
however, that it's not just what
we do. It's why we do it. That's
important. That's the way we
make the connection with our
clients, our customers and our
colleagues. When we can answer,
why we do what we do, that also
sets us up to answer another
important question, which is,
what is it that you want to
become in your business, in your
industry, and also importantly,
in your community? What's your
vision for you and your
business? That's what it means
to me to be able to answer the
question, not just what I do,
but why I do it, and why it's
important.
To me, building a vision means
having the time and the
flexibility to create the things
that I want to create. I'm a
photographer. And while I
absolutely love working with my
clients, I also love shooting
just for me, and just to get my
creative juices flowing. Another
thing that fits my vision is
having an amazing team of people
that love coming to work that
love bouncing ideas off of each
other and brainstorming and also
that love to have fun together.

hard
in order to get more clarity and
confidence around what your
vision looks like and then how

content and effective marketing.
