Closed caption and transcription services, done by humans.
Closed captioning (CC) is matching transcribed text to the moving visual images on a screen. Also known as video closed captioning, CC is perfect for online courses, movies, TV programs, video games, YouTube videos and more. Captioning works great for video content and the hearing impaired and regular viewer not able to listen to content. Transcription is a text-based resource as a way to read the message that video content presents.

If you wish to burn in captions and lock them into your video directly then also order a Video Edit product and provide the SRT file when you submit your request.
It's easy to create closed captioned videos — here's how it works:

What are Captions?
Captions are the text version of a video or audio content experience. And closed captioning is the process of converting the audio content into text and displaying the text on a screen or monitor when the video is distributed. Captioning enables those who are hearing-impaired to benefit fully from content.
What is the difference between Subtitles and Captions?
Captions are intended for hearing-impaired people who can only view videos but can't hear it. Subtitles are for viewers who can hear the audio but can't understand the language that's spoken. Subtitles are more difficult because it translates the spoken language of the content into the viewer's own language. Video Supply does not offer translation or subtitle creation services.
What are open captions?
Open captions are always in view and cannot be turned off, whereas closed captions can be turned on and off by the viewer. Closed captions are most common across all distribution platforms.
How do you ensure quality?
At Video Supply, we completely understand how important it is to have transcription accuracy. That's why we'll ensure we fix all errors, typos and punctuation mistakes.
Where are your transcriptionists located?
The majority of our trained transcriptionists are based in the United States and are native English speakers.
How do you keep my information secure?
All of our suppliers sign a Confidentiality Agreement. We respect your privacy. So we delete all sensitive materials from our storage and computers 4 weeks after all services are completed.
Do you use speech recognition software to create transcriptions?
Yes, but only for step one to have a computer automatically generate a rough draft. Then our humans take over to thoroughly proofread and quality check every word.
No matter where you may be distributing videos for your business, having closed captions and a downloadable transcript will enhance your content and improve your customer experience.
Video captioning is essential for TV program in many countries but not required (yet) for websites and your online business so it just makes sense to make all your content more accessible, wherever it's distributed.
Subtitles are an effective way for viewers with hearing impairments, or who speak other languages, to better read from and understand your video messages, throughout the entire buyer's journey.
Captioning displays the dialogue of your video but also sounds and music relevant to foundational ADA compliant content.
